Pickup Lines – Jennifair (Acoustic)

Q: At what age did you know music was your passion?
A: I’ve known music was my passion since I was a little girl. I used to watch my father sing in church. I knew that I wanted to be a singer also.

Q: What was the first song you remember singing?
A: When I was 7, I remember singing with my sister in the school talent show. We sang Total’s “Can’t You See” acapella with our eyes closed the entire time.

Q: Who’s been the most influential person in your career to date?
A: I would say my biggest influence would be Brandy. She’s my favorite singer.

Q: What advice would you give someone wanting to become an artist?
A: Learn as much about the industry as you can. It’s good to be knowledgeable. Also, practice practice practice your craft. Be yourself. Own your shit

With Me – Jennifair

Q: So you have a new album, “A Tale of Two Cities”, coming out on March 30th. Congratulations! How would you describe the music on the album?
A: The music is very honest. It’s very reminiscent of music I grew up listening to. I pull from the greats. It’s soulful, relatable, and fun. It tells a story from beginning to end. You won’t want to skip a track and I’m very proud of it.

Q: Which song off the album are you most excited to perform live?
A: Testify” is probably my favorite. It’s energetic, soulful, and just a great song to perform live.

Q: What was the hardest part about recording the album?
A: The hardest part was having to believe I was truly finished with it. I had it done 3 times and I wasn’t satisfied. I ‘m really a perfectionist.

Q: What was your favorite part about recording your new music video?
A: My favorite part was the acting. I’m definitely not an actress. I’ve never had to act before. I really had to go back to the emotions I had when writing the song. It’s a super emotional video.

Q: How would you describe the concept of the video?
A: It’s definitely a love song, so we tried to capture that essence in the video. It’s about regretting mistakes and not being able to say goodbye.

Q: What’s planned for after the album release?
A: We have a couple more shows I’m planning. More videos. Merchandise for sale. Just a lot more content for 2018.

Sugar – Jennfair (feat. Deion Luis)

Q: If you had to choose one lyric/verse to describe you, what would it be?
A: Always gone be a bigger house somewhere but n**** feel meLong as the people in that motherfucker love you dearly
Always gone be a whip that’s better than the one you got
Always gone be some clothes that’s better than the ones your rock
Always gone be a bitch that’s badder out there on the tours
But you ain’t never gone be happy til you love yourz
-J Cole “Love Yourz”
We get so caught up watching someone else’s success that we forget to celebrate our own. I had to stick to my lane and worry about my accomplishments. I’m only focused on what my team and I are doing. I gotta love myself before someone can love me.
Q: What’s your favorite album of all-time?
A: That’s a hard one. It would have to be “Miseducation of Lauryn Hill”.
Q: What’s your favorite dessert?
A: Cheesecake
Q: What would be your superpower?
A: y super power would be telekinesis.
Q: What’s something/someone that never fails to make you laugh?
A: I love watching Instagram or social media for the funniest memes. They keep me going.
Q: Lastly, what’s your favorite TV show?
A: I have two. Family Guy and Spongebob. I love animation.

Be sure to follow Jennifair for updates on the new album, and keep an eye out for it’s 3/30 release date. We’re excited to hear what’s in store!
